not gd at all.

feel depressed about work

it could be a phase, i don't know

but i do know i'm feeling not so great abt work

this isn't about a setback at work or any scoldings from bosses/clients

it's just a self-realization sorta stuff

maybe i'm not as happy as i used to be half a year ago

everyone said i was glowing when i first returned from the states,

i walked with a bounce in each step.

and now work is wearying me down again.

i need something happy.

i came into office and was greeted with birthday wishes & flowers. my boss planted 24 ppl in the office to come up and greet me happy birthday with a stalk of daisy each.

My dad made this! yums.

A variant of the typical black glutinous rice dessert - is to have it cold!
My dad kept half of the dessert in the fridge. Bought vanilla ice-cream today and surprised me with this cold dessert!
It reminded me of the Japanese Azuki (Red Bean) ice-cream dessert! but this is even more yums!!

what im watching

i'm never quite a TV person. when ly is in SG, it's movies 95% of the time. now! only when he's away, i watch drama during my free time and on train (on way to work). so! these are the shows i'm watching. i know it's a weird mix..

taiwanese idol drama - starred by my FAV onscreen couple.
been waiting to borrow the show from JH.
now it's on cable channel 825!

season 2 is still showing now. i get very restless if i can only watch 1 episode/week.
it's an alright show; i'd prolly give it a low 7.

wahahahaha. TOP CHEF MASTERS. super addictive. a must-watch for foodies!

Bad. Started the week off with a real serious case of migraine.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were torturing.

Friday, not exactly great. Heard some bad news from the office. Certainly not the best way to end the week.

Saturday. I'm looking forward to the picnic. Not looking forward to the job after. I hate working on weekends. It feels that I haven't rested.

Tough week.

Stella's visit to Singapore

spent the night chatting at StarBucks. just catching up on old times.

Went to Maxwell for lunch. the yummy Tian Tian Chicken Rice! we queued about 20 mins for it? My first time eating it. it's really gd! i love the chilli especially! We also had the sliced fish noodles soup! super tasty soup! perhaps i was too full, it din taste as gd as i remembered it.

Spent the rest of the Saturday doing the shopping route. Alighted at Somerset for 313, then walked all the way down to Taka, Wisma, Far East, took a bus down to Bugis, and lastly Haji Lane.

Had a fab dinner at Melben crab. I had never been that full since those secondary/jc-buffets days.


Sunday: Katong tour. not a place that most tourists would go. who comes to sg for a week apart from my crazy cousin simon. stella was here for 1 week so! having run out of places i brought her to katong for some gd food action.
We had the famous laksa! n durian puffs. according to ju it's super gd! i'd nv know cos i dun eat durians.

then to the Singapore Food Festival! it was raining on that day but the place was still super crowded. we ordered a spread but personally i felt that everything was just so-so.


guess which arm is mine? ha. they are seriously too fair.

i've got pretty shoes

love this pair to bits. it's comfy to walk in. n shimmers under the sun. woooh. i likey.

i've been eyeing on my neighbour's shoes, not really neighbour, i always see her at the same bus stop in the morning and she has this cute pair of flats! i really wanted to go up to her n ask her where did she get them. THEN! over the weekend i went out with my taiwanese friend, Stella. brought her ard for shopping. AND! ta dah! i saw that pair of shoes!! at 花草树木. really want to get it but i bought sooo many pairs from the states and my shoes area is exploding. mama is going to kill me.
